HI name is
Katherine. I love life because of the One who gave me life. My joy comes from
my Father. Not my earthly one, although he does make me quite happy, but my
heavenly One. I have a husband and 2 dogs. We enjoy doing all outdoor
activities. We’re always looking for the next adventure and generally live life
at the spur of the moment. I adore squirrels and all things squirrely.
I love to
create. Yeah I know that’s broad but I will try to create just about anything.
When I haven’t created something in a while I start to feel a little batty. I
really enjoy creating food. It seems to provide the most instant satisfaction. Although
I’m far from a professionally trained chef I have southern blood in me so I
like to think it comes to me naturally. I’m a firm believer that anyone who
loves to eat can also learn to cook. I’m always looking for inspiration and new
ideas to try. My latest endeavor is photography. I take my camera with me just
about everywhere I go.
I went to
school to become an elementary teacher and I realized I loved art along the
way. Is being a starving artist practical though? I taught for a few years and loved every minute of it, even if it was hard sometimes. My husband’s job has
moved us around a little which hasn’t made it easy to continue in that
profession.
My dream is to become a potter. Throwing
pottery completes me. I had the joy of selling a few of my pieces in an art
show in Nebraska. I’m looking forward to settling down and setting up my very
own studio. For now though I shop all day for a living. I’m a purchasing agent
for a local company. What a blessing it
is to experience something new! I can’t wait to find out more about you. Thanks
